Bengaluru, June 27 -- Vice President CP Radhakrishnan on Saturday said Bengaluru's identity as a "Mini Bharat" stands as the enduring legacy of Nadaprabhu Sri Kempegowda's vision of an inclusive and harmonious society, asserting that the 16th-century ruler's ideals continue to shape the city's growth and India's development.

Paying tributes to Kempegowda on his 517th birth anniversary here, the Vice President said the founder of Bengaluru had envisioned a city where farmers, traders, artisans, scholars and people of different faiths could live and prosper together.
