Bengaluru, June 26 -- A Bengaluru court has reissued a non-bailable warrant (NBW) against actor Prakash Raj after he allegedly failed to appear before it in connection with a case accusing him of maintaining multiple voter registrations across three states.
The case arises from a private complaint filed by advocate K Dilip Kumar, who alleged that Raj's name appeared on four separate electoral rolls while he contested the 2019 Lok Sabha election from the Bengaluru Central constituency.
The complaint claims that the actor held voter registrations in Shantinagar (Karnataka), Serilingampally (Telangana), and two locations in Tamil Nadu, including Velachery.
