Kolkata, June 16 -- The Women's Bengal T20 League witnessed two closely-fought contests on Tuesday at the JU Salt Lake Stadium here, with Shrachi Rarh Tigers defeating Sobisco Smashers Malda by one wicket and Adamas Howrah Warriors overcoming Kolkata Royal Tigers by 23 runs.
Sobisco Smashers Malda found themselves in trouble early after losing three wickets inside the powerplay. Mamta Kisku, however, held the innings together with a crucial 60, while Parama Mondal and Prativa Mandi added 20 runs each to help their side reach 127/7 in 20 overs.
For Shrachi Rarh Tigers, Rupal Tiwari was the standout bowler with figures of 3/17, while Bidisha Dey claimed two wickets.
