Kolkata, Feb. 24 -- West Bengal's ruling Trinamool Congress candidates are likely to file their nomination papers on March 5 for the five Rajya Sabha seats which would be up for grabs from the state.

Though the party is yet to finalise the four candidates for the Upper House of parliament, the Trinamool legislature party began reaching out to its MLAs through phone calls and WhatsApp messages to ensure none of them misses signing as proposers.

Sources in the party said that chief whip Nirmal Ghosh asked MLAs present in the Assembly to follow party instructions carefully regarding the nomination process.
