Serampore/Kolkata, April 25 -- Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Saturday accused West Bengal's ruling Trinamool Congress of corruption, patronage politics and fostering violence.

Addressing campaign rallies in Hooghly's Serampore and Kolkata's Shaheed Minar ahead of phase two of the state Assembly elections, Gandhi, in a combative speech, drew a parallel between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, alleging that both regimes thrive on similar practices.
