Kolkata, April 26 -- The Election Commission of India (ECI) has ordered a probe after a purported video clip allegedly showing a group of men trying to intimidate people in West Bengal's Diamond Harbour constituency gained traction across several social media platforms.
An FIR has also been lodged in the Diamond Harbour police district, a senior ECI official said.
In the purported video footage, a group of men on motorcycles appear to be moving through a narrow residential lane lined with houses. The individuals are heard shouting slogans as they ride through the area.
