Kolkata, March 30 -- The Election Commission of India (ECI) on Monday removed four top officials including West Bengal Deputy Chief Electoral Officer Subrata Pal from the CEO Monoj Agarwal's office.
While Pal was shifted to the health department, Rahul Nath was posted as the Joint Chief Electoral Officer in the CEO's office, according to a notification issued by the state secretariat Nabanna. Nath was till date serving as Additional Secretary in the Health and Family Welfare department.
The notification mentioned that additional secretaries in the CEO's office Narendranath Dutta and Supriya Das have been shunted out to the Labour department and Food and Food Processing and Horticulture departments respectively.
