Kolkata, Aug. 21 -- West Bengal minister and former BJP Bengal president Dilip Ghosh on Friday warned of another "surgical strike" at Jadavpur University if "anti-national slogans" were raised on the campus, even as the state BJP sought to distance itself from the continuing confrontation between ABVP and Left-backed student organisations.

"There should be no room for bullying or anti-national activities," Ghosh told reporters during his morning walk. Referring to an earlier clash at the university, he said, "Our people had carried out a surgical strike there. The SFI office was vandalised.
