Kolkata, Sept. 27 -- West Bengal Panchayat Minister Dilip Ghosh has ruled out the possibility of the BJP fielding turncoats from the Trinamool Congress in the forthcoming municipal elections, while defending the recent organisational reshuffle in the state BJP.
Speaking on a range of issues concerning the state's political situation, Ghosh said the BJP was not in such a weak position that it needed to induct leaders from the TMC merely to contest municipal polls.
"The BJP is not in such a bad condition that we need to bring people from the Trinamool Congress. Otherwise, five years will pass in this exercise again," he said.
