Kolkata, July 27 -- Rajya Sabha MP and West Bengal BJP president Samik Bhattacharya on Monday attacked the CPI(M) and Left-backed student protests, alleging that slogans such as "Kashmir Mange Azadi" and "Bharat Tere Tukde Honge" have no place in a democratic movement and warned parents to keep their children away from such campaigns.

He justified the BJP's huge rally today at Esplanade as a symbolic protest against the "subversive" politics of the Left parties.
