Kolkata, July 1 -- A fresh political controversy erupted over the Trinamool Congress's 'Sebashray' initiative after West Bengal BJP leader Abhijit Das, popularly known as Bobby, on Wednesday lodged a fresh complaint with Bishnupur police station alleging large-scale irregularities and violations in the conduct of the medical camps.
In his complaint, Das accused Trinamool Congress national general secretary Abhishek Banerjee and several others of running the camps in violation of medical and legal norms. Besides Banerjee, the complaint reportedly names his close aide Sumit Roy, Ayan Ghosh Dastidar, a local MLA, panchayat representatives and doctors associated with the camps.
