Kolkata, May 20 -- Trinamool Congress MP Kakoli Ghosh Dastidar has been provided enhanced central security cover by the union Home Ministry, triggering speculations at a time the security arrangements of several senior party leaders, including Abhishek Banerjee, have reportedly been downgraded after the political change in West Bengal.
Sources said the union Home Ministry has granted Y-Plus category security to the Trinamool Congress MP. Central Industrial Security Force personnel were seen outside her residence in Madhyamgram of 24 parganas North district from Tuesday morning.
