Kolkata, July 7 -- A delegation of the rebel Trinamool Congress (TMC) faction on Tuesday visited the family of the minor girl allegedly raped and murdered in Baruipur, located in West Bengal's South 24 Parganas, assuring them of justice and demanding the strictest punishment for those responsible.
The visit came a day after a TMC delegation of the Mamata faction, led by MPs Dola Sen and Pratima Mondal, met the bereaved family. The rebel Trinamool Congress (TMC) faction on Tuesday was led by the Leader of Opposition in Bengal Assembly, Ritabrata Banerjee and included Lok Sabha MPs Saayoni Ghosh and Kakoli Ghosh Dastidar.
