Siliguri, Sept. 4 -- The Alipurduar district administration in north Bengal rescued three persons, including two minor boys, from a potato cold storage here following a complaint of alleged bonded labour.

The rescue operation was carried out on Thursday after the administration received a complaint that the three persons were allegedly being kept confined and made to work at the cold storage as bonded labourers.

The district administration, in association with the District Labour Department and Bengal police, executed the rescue operation.
