Siliguri, Sept. 20 -- With floodwaters gradually receding in Bhutni of Manikchak, the district administration has made special arrangements to ensure that students from the flood-affected areas can appear in the ongoing Higher Secondary third-semester examinations without facing further difficulties.
Examination centres for students of three schools in the flood-hit Bhutni area have been shifted to Manikchak College. The examinees have been accommodated at separate shelters in safe locations close to the examination centre. Arrangements have been made for their accommodation, food, drinking water and other essential facilities, besides transport between the shelters and the examination centre.
