Kolkata, July 4 -- Trinamool Congress MLA Kunal Ghosh on Friday walked out of a two-day orientation programme for newly elected legislators at the Biswa Bangla Convention Centre in New Town, alleging that the Speakers of the Lok Sabha and the West Bengal Assembly had played roles in facilitating the split of the TMC.

Ghosh, a first-time MLA from Beleghata and considered close to the Kalighat leadership of the party, attended the inaugural session of the programme, collected his delegate card and remained present during the opening ceremony before leaving the venue in protest.
