Siliguri, June 8 -- Residents of the Darjeeling Hills on Monday greeted West Bengal minister Agnimitra Paul with chants of "We want Gorkhaland" during her visit to Darjeeling, in the presence of MP Raju Bista.
Paul, the Minister for Women and Child Development and Social Welfare, accompanied by Bista, inspected drinking water supply projects being implemented in the Mirik Municipality area under the Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT) 2.0 scheme, which is being funded by the Central Government.
