Krishnanagar, Feb. 23 -- A fresh wave of anxiety swept through Molandi village in West Bengal's Nadia district on Monday after multiple socket bombs were recovered from two separate locations, rekindling memories of the tragic blast that had claimed a child's life eight months ago.

According to local sources, two socket bombs were first spotted by residents inside a guava orchard at Dakshinpara in Molandi under Kaliganj. The discovery was made in the afternoon when villagers noticed suspicious objects lying amid the foliage and immediately alerted the police. Personnel from the Mirabazar outpost under Kaliganj Police Station rushed to the spot, cordoned off the area, and restricted civilian movement.
