Malda, June 24 -- Four persons were killed after a lightning struck a boat in the middle of the river Ganga in West Bengal's Malda district.
The incident happened in the Par Deonapur Chowdhuripara area on Tuesday when the victims were crossing the river in a boat.
All four victims were residents of Par Deonapur Chowdhuri para area.
Several others sustained injuries and were admitted to Malda Medical College and Jangipur Sub-Divisional Hospital.
