Kolkata, June 17 -- A Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) team on Wednesday went to the Panihati crematorium in North 24 Pargans district as part of the agency's probe into the rape and murder of a female doctor at RG Kar Medical College and Hospital here in 2024.
The CBI sleuths visited the crematorium to gather detailed information regarding the events that transpired after the deceased doctor's body was brought to the crematorium and the manner in which the cremation was conducted.
The victim's family has raised questions about the investigation into the RG Kar incident from the very beginning.
