Siliguri, May 19 -- Expressing concern over prolonged traffic congestion and delays in the opening of the newly-constructed second Farakka Bridge over the Ganga, Malda Merchants' Chamber of Commerce & Industry president Ujjal Saha has written to the Central government urging immediate steps for its operationalisation.
The letter has been sent to union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari, with a copy to the West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari.
