Kolkata, June 2 -- Senior BJP leader and state Cabinet minister Dilip Ghosh on Tuesday demanded the cancellation of the registration of the Trinamool Congress (TMC) and withdrawal of its election symbol, alleging that the former ruling party had inflicted irreparable damage on the state's social and economic fabric during its 15 years in power.
Addressing reporters, Ghosh launched a scathing attack on the TMC, accusing it of institutionalising corruption, extortion and political violence across the state.
