Varanasi, May 12 -- A spiritual seminar on the "Somnath Swabhiman Parv" was organised on Tuesday at the Swatantrata Bhawan of Banaras Hindu University (BHU).
Swami Avdheshanand Giri, the head of the Juna Akhara, also attended the seminar.
Regarding Prime Minister Narendra Modi's appeal to "not buy gold unless it is necessary," Swami Avdheshanand Giri said that such appeals have been made many times before.
