Dhanbad, June 27 -- Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL) is set to launch its first "Coal Neer" project in Jharkhand, with Chairman-cum-Managing Director Manoj Agrawal reviewing the progress of the under-construction water bottling plant at Putki on Saturday.
The bottling plant, coming up at the Putki-Balihari Area office premises at a cost of around Rs 2 crore, is expected to be inaugurated within the next week.
Director (Technical, Planning and Projects) Sanjay Singh and Director (Finance) Rajesh Kumar accompanied the CMD during the inspection.
Under the project, underground mine water will be purified using advanced reverse osmosis (RO) technology and packaged in 250 ml, 500 ml and one-litre bottles.
