Hyderabad, July 6 -- The Telangana State BC representatives' Maha Sabha held in Hyderabad today saw sharp criticism of the Telangana government for failing to fulfill its promise of 42 per cent reservations for Backward Classes (BCs).

The meeting was presided over by Katam Narasimha Yadav, President of the Joint Platform of BC Associations, and attended by several prominent BC leaders and former officials.

Dr Vakulabharanam Krishna Mohan Rao, former Chairman of the State BC Commission, raised serious constitutional and legal concerns over the implementation of the reservation promise without proper data or legal sanction.
