Hyderabad, Oct. 9 -- A delegation of BC leaders led by National BC Welfare Association president and Rajya Sabha member R Krishnaiah met Chief Secretary Sanjay Jaju on Friday and urged the Telangana government to address BC issues in education, employment and welfare.
The delegation sought 100 BC residential schools and 100 college hostels, subsidised loans of up to Rs 20 lakh for every BC family through the BC Corporation, and immediate release of Rs 8,500 crore in fee reimbursement arrears benefiting 14 lakh students.
