Raipur, July 7 -- Abujhmad, one of Chhattisgarh's most remote and forested regions, may soon chart a new economic course through coffee cultivation. Known for decades for its geographical isolation and prolonged Left-Wing Extremism, the region is now witnessing efforts to create sustainable livelihood opportunities for tribal communities.

Under the Vishnu Deo Sai government's focus on expanding development in remote areas, the Narayanpur administration has begun exploring whether coffee cultivation can become a long-term driver of rural prosperity while preserving Abujhmad's fragile ecology.
