Jammu, Oct. 3 -- Jammu Divisional Commissioner Ramesh Kumar stressed the importance of showcasing rich cultural identity of Basohli through Ramleela, Ravi Aarti, folk and cultural performances, local artist presentations and a cultural procession during the annual Basohli Utsav (Festival) to be celebrated from Oct 19 to 21 in Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Chairing a meeting of senior officers on Saturday to review the arrangements for the smooth conduct of the upcoming Basohli Festival/Utsav here, the Divisional Commissioner in meeting discussed the proposed cultural, tourism, sports, academic and promotional activities, besides venue arrangements, participation, logistics, sanitation, security and crowd management.
