Bhubaneswar, July 14 -- Barpali Railway Station in Odisha's Bargarh district has undergone a major transformation under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme, emerging as a modern, accessible and passenger-centric facility while showcasing the rich cultural heritage of Western Odisha.
Redeveloped at an estimated cost of Rs 22 crore, the upgraded station is expected to significantly enhance passenger convenience, improve regional connectivity and contribute to the socio-economic development of the area.
East Coast Railway (ECoR) sources said the station has been comprehensively upgraded with an expanded station building featuring a new entrance portico, a spacious circulating area and improved passenger access.
