Madrid, Sept. 14 -- FC Barcelona remained top of La Liga and preserved its perfect start to the season with a 4-2 win away to a determined Levante.

Raphinha was one of Barcelona's standout players, providing assists for young defender Xavi Espart and Lamine Yamal as the visitor raced into a 2-0 lead after just 19 minutes on Sunday.

Yamal then won a penalty after a challenge from Aissa Mandi early in the second half to make it 3-0 and seemingly put the game beyond Levante, but a mistake from Espart with just over 10 minutes remaining allowed Ivan Romero to pull one back for the home side.
