Pune, Aug. 20 -- A letter appealing to the Pawar family to listen to the concerns of Baramati residents and pay greater attention to the constituency, following the sudden death of former Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, has been widely circulated on social media.

The letter says Baramati has, in a real sense, been left "orphaned" after Ajit Pawar's untimely death and claims that ordinary citizens are now facing several pressing issues. The appeal has reportedly received support not only from residents of Baramati but also from people in various parts of Maharashtra.
