Hyderabad, Aug. 28 -- Bank of India on Friday concluded the Grand Finale of CyberShield Hackathon 2026 at the Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad (IIT-H), with six teams emerging winners in two problem statements aimed at strengthening cybersecurity and fraud prevention in the banking sector.
The Two-day hackathon, organised by Bank of India in collaboration with IIT-H, was conducted as an initiative of the Department of Financial Services (DFS), Ministry of Finance and the Indian Banks' Association (IBA).
The initiative sought to bring together public sector banks, academic institutions and young innovators to develop technology-driven solutions to real-world challenges in banking and financial services.
