Dhaka, Nov. 11 -- As political tensions continue to rise in Bangladesh ahead of next year's general election, the National Citizens Party (NCP) on Tuesday pledged its willingness to carry out a "ballot revolution" or a "bullet revolution," depending on the nation's political trajectory.
Speaking at a discussion held at the party's youth headquarters here, NCP Chief Coordinator Nasiruddin Patwary said, "If Bangladesh continues on the democratic path, NCP is ready for a ballot revolution. But if blood must be shed, we are ready for a bullet revolution too," reports Daily Star.
