Dhaka, Nov. 17 -- Bangladesh's major opposition parties, upping their anti-India rhetoric, have demanded that New Delhi repatriate the country's former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, following the death sentence handed to her by the nation's International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) for alleged crimes against humanity during the July Uprising last year.
Speaking at a press conference in Dhaka's Moghbazar, the country's hardline Islamist group, Jamaat-e-Islami, demanded Hasina's immediate repatriation by India, where the former leader has been living in self-exile since August 5, 2024.
