Birmingham, June 15 -- Bangladesh opener Juairiya Ferdous has vowed to continue to attack opposition bowlers during the Powerplay following her superb half-century against the Netherlands at the ICC Women's T20 World Cup.
Ferdous produced a superb knock of 50 from just 33 deliveries as Bangladesh got their T20 World Cup campaign off to an excellent start with a six-wicket victory over the Netherlands, with the 20-year-old smashing seven fours and a pair of sixes in an strong display of power-hitting.
It was just the 17th international appearance for Ferdous and the first time she has played at any senior ICC tournament and the hard-hitting right-hander admitted she wanted to leave an immediate mark.
