Dhaka, Aug. 17 -- Bangladesh have announced the squad which will take part in the ACC Women's Asia Cup 2026 in Dubai, UAE and the 20th Asian Games in Japan.
Nigar Sultana Joty, who recently oversaw their ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2026 campaign, which saw the team secure wins over Pakistan and Netherlands, will captain the side once more. Spinner Nahida Akter will be her deputy.
Apart from recognisable faces, Sarmin Sultana, who had featured in her debut T20I in May this year, will feature as a top-order batter. Sarmin has some experience in the ODIs, where she's played 16 games.
Sobhana Mostary and Juairiya Ferdous who got starts in the top-order during the Women's T20 World Cup are also a part of the setup.
