Hyderabad, July 16 -- union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar has assured support to an auto-rickshaw driver who alleged that he was assaulted and threatened by a group of individuals linked to the AIMIM over Hindutva slogans displayed on his vehicle in Hyderabad.
According to a statement issued by Bandi Sanjay's office, Chanchari Bharat Kumar (24), a native of Wanaparthy district, alleged that a group intercepted his auto near Mehdipatnam on July 13, damaged its rear cover, erased the slogans painted on it, and threatened him with dire consequences if he continued to display such messages.
