Asan (South Korea), Aug. 9 -- Zhu Xuanchen claimed his first World Tour title at the 2026 BWF Korea Masters on Sunday.
The 22-year-old shuttler from the People's Republic of China came through straight games against fellow unseeded player Yoo Taebin of the Republic of Korea, winning 21-16, 23-21 in the men's singles final.
Zhu, the badminton world No. 68, claimed his first BWF World Tour title with his triumph at the Super 300 tournament in Asan.
"I came here with the goal of winning the title, but once I started playing, I just focused on fighting for every point," Zhu said via the BWF.
