Ramgarh, Oct. 18 -- Yoga guru Baba Ramdev and Jharkhand Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar attended the funeral feast of Chief Minister Hemant Soren's mother, Roopi Soren, at Nemra, the chief minister's ancestral village in Ramgarh district, on Sunday.
People from Ramgarh and several other districts of Jharkhand reached Nemra to attend the ceremony. The gathering also saw the participation of several prominent personalities.
Ramdev arrived by helicopter at around 1 pm and went to the chief minister's residence, where he paid floral tributes to Roopi Soren's portrait. He also prayed for strength for the chief minister and his family during the bereavement.
