Chandrapur, Sept. 9 -- Facing the challenge of rebuilding its deteriorating campus at an estimated cost of Rs 111 crore, the management of Anand Niketan College in Warora established by renowned social reformer Baba Amte in 1964, has initiated the process of handing over its administration to a private educational organisation for financial support.
The management has, however, made it clear that there are no plans to close the college, officials said on Wednesday.
In view of the financial and infrastructural challenges, the management believes transferring the administration to a capable private partner is the most viable option to ensure uninterrupted academic operations and the institution's future growth.
