New Delhi, May 1 -- Hailing the Ayushman Bharat (AB-PMJAY) scheme, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Thursday said that it has created a new dimension of health security for the people of the country, especially the underprivileged.
On the occasion of Ayushman Bharat Diwas, CM Gupta said the scheme has freed the poor families from the pressure of heavy debts to afford treatment and also the worry of illness.
She extended wishes to the residents of the national capital, adding that the scheme under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership has ensured free medical treatment to a large number of deprived across the nation.
