Moradabad, Sept. 5 -- A serious case of alleged fraud has surfaced in Bilari, Moradabad, where Ayodhya Sugar Mills, owned by the Rana Group, is facing grave accusations of withholding payments owed to sugarcane farmers.
According to multiple complaints, the mill management has failed to pay over Rs 40 crore in dues to farmers and has not deposited Rs 12 crore meant for development contributions.
Despite sugarcane supplies worth over Rs 164 crore being delivered to the mill, only Rs 124 crore has been paid so far.
