New Delhi, Jan. 8 -- Avro India Ltd has commissioned a greenfield flexible plastic recycling facility, marking a significant expansion of its operations into organised recycling of difficult-to-process plastic waste, an official statement said here on Thursday.

The facility, operated through its wholly owned subsidiary AVRO Recycling Ltd, has an initial processing capacity of 500 metric tonnes per month and is expected to scale up to 1,000 metric tonnes per month by the fourth quarter of FY 2025-26.

The company has invested Rs 25 crore in the project so far and plans to deploy an additional Rs 30 crore by FY 2027 to expand recycling capacity and develop further facilities.
