Lucknow, Aug. 30 -- Lucknow Municipal Corporation started demolition of illegal lawyer chambers near the district court today.
Bulldozers were used to demolish the illegal lawyer chambers around the Lucknow District Court. A team of police and administrative officers arrived at the scene late in afternoon around 4:30 pm.
Shortly after, the Municipal Corporation team arrived with eight bulldozers and a truck. At 5:10 p.m., the bulldozers began demolishing the chambers. Electricity was also cut off in the area. During the operation, which lasted approximately one-and-a-quarter hour, 58 illegal chambers were demolished.
