New Delhi, Nov. 29 -- Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese married his fiance Jodie Haydon in a private ceremony at his official residence in Canberra on Saturday, becoming the first Prime Minister of the country to marry while in office.
The details were not disclosed since their engagement on Valentine's Day last year.
The ceremony was attended by close friends and family members, Australian media reported.
"We are absolutely delighted to share our love and commitment to spending our future lives together, in front of our family and closest friends," Albanese and Haydon said in a statement.
