Shillong, May 8 -- Australia's High Commissioner to India, Philip Green called on Meghalaya Governor Chandrashekhar H. Vijayashankar at Lok Bhavan on Thursday and discussed matters on areas of mutual interest.

Green was accompanied Consul General of Australia to India Bernard Lynch.

In a press statement issued by Lok Bhawan on Friday, the meeting witnessed meaningful discussions on areas of mutual interest, including higher education, development of water sector including water sports such as surfing, kayaking, water skiing, and diving, sustainable developmentand opportunities for deeper collaboration between Australia and Meghalaya.
