New Delhi, Aug. 5 -- Australia have decided not to play a warm-up match before their 2027 Border-Gavaskar Trophy tour of India, with head coach Andrew McDonald saying the team will instead rely on a specialised training camp to prepare for the challenging conditions.

The five-Test series will begin in Nagpur on January 21 and conclude in Ahmedabad on March 3. It will be Australia's longest tour of India in 50 years and comes less than two weeks after the end of their home Test series against New Zealand, leaving little time for preparation.
