London, June 30 -- Star opener Beth Mooney struck a sparkling unbeaten 61 as Australia outclassed West Indies by eight wickets to storm into the final of the ICC Women's T20 World Cup for a record eighth time at Kennington Oval here on Tuesday.

Chasing a modest target of 126 after Australia's bowlers had restricted West Indies to 125 for seven, Mooney anchored the chase with a fluent 61 not out off 36 balls, studded with eight boundaries.

She shared an unbroken 63-run partnership with Ashleigh Gardner (35 not out off 20) as Australia raced to 127 for two in just 13 overs, completing the chase with seven overs to spare and extending their unbeaten run in the tournament to six matches.
