Manchester, June 14 -- Australia Women registered a dominant 65-run victory over South Africa Women in the 3rd match of Group A at the ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2026 at Emirates Old Trafford on Saturday.

Opting to bat first, Australia posted 172/8 in 20 overs, riding on a blistering half-century from Phoebe Litchfield and key contributions from Ellyse Perry and Georgia Wareham.

Litchfield smashed 50 off 24 balls with nine fours and a six at a strike rate of 208.33, giving Australia early momentum despite quick wickets. Ellyse Perry added a steady 36 off 26 deliveries, while Wareham's 32 off 22 balls further strengthened the innings. Annabel Sutherland (21 off 14) and Nicola Carey (13 not out) helped Australia finish strongly.
