Chennai, July 2 -- The case pertaining to alleged attempt of luring a Legislator of the ruling TVK with a Rs 35 crore bribe offer to defect and vote against a resolution in the Tamil Nadu Assembly to be moved against the Speaker, gained momentum with the police arresting six more people, taking the total to nine, while cases were booked under various sections of BNS Act and under Prevention of Corruption Act against former DMK Minister and Coimbatore South Legislator V Senthulbalaji's brother V Ashok Kumar, who was said to be absconding.
